For almost 50 years, the IFMGA has been organising championships in skiing and climbing. Besides the competitions, maintaining contacts is also very important. The meetings help us to build up an international network and to get to know mountain guides from other regions and countries. This can help with questions about unknown tours, or what the conditions are like in another area at the moment.
This is why we extend an invitation to the 2024 Climbing Championship that will be held from the 18th to the 22th of november of 2024. More information on registration will come soon, but here is a preliminary itinerary and detail of the competition.

14:00 Start presence of competitors, presence will be running during afternoon till 17:00
14:30 Start of first part qualification by technical breefing (competition routes, rules, pointing)
20:00 Finish the first part qualification, start dinner with after-party
23 November 2024
10:00 Second part of qualification
14:00 Finish of qualification
14:30 Results of qualification
15:30 Final for the Best 8 male and 8 female
17:30 Award ceremony
19:00 Gala dinner and after-party of competition
