For almost 50 years, the IFMGA has been organising championships in skiing and climbing. Besides the competitions, maintaining contacts is also very important. The meetings help us to build up an international network and to get to know mountain guides from other regions and countries. This can help with questions about unknown tours, or what the conditions are like in another area at the moment.
This year the 2024 Climbing Championship was held from the 18th to the 22th of november of 2024 with 75 participants from 12 different member associations. Review here the results of the competition
